whats in a name
The name Auxein, came from a long search for name that could carry the mission of this company: To lead the global wine industry toward a sustainable and resilient future, creating a legacy for generations.
Our name, Auxein, is derived from the Greek "auxein" (αá½”ξειν) literally meaning"to grow". It is the origin of the biological name, auxin, a class of plant hormones that promote various aspects of plant development, such as root formation, bud growth, and the response to light. We like this, as to be sustainable and resilient - one must grow in the face of what ever conditions you face.
